Front three good to go - How Liverpool could line up in Merseyside derby against Everton

Jurgen Klopp has several injury concerns, but his first choice front three of Mohamed Salah, Diogo Jota, and Sadio Mane are fit to play.

Jurgen Klopp will be without several first-team stars for the trip to Goodison Park, but he does have the full compliment of his favoured front three available.

Roberto Firmino will miss out on the visit across town, but the Brazilian has since his slot through the middle taken by Diogo Jota in recent months, and with a brace last time out against Southampton, the former Wolves man comes into the derby in spectacular form.

The Reds' 4-0 win over Southampton at the weekend closed the gap to Chelsea at the top of the Premier League table, but with the Blues facing Watford, victory over their city rivals is crucial.

Naby Keita, Joe Gomez, Harvey Elliott, Curtis Jones, and the aforementioned Firmino all won't be available for selection, but Klopp still has a strong squad to pick from.

Liverpool have lost just once all season in all competitions, against West Ham, and will be desperate to keep it that way against former manager Rafa Benitez, who won the Champions League during his time at Anfield.

Potential Liverpool Starting XI vs Everton

Alisson will continue in goal, with the trusted Andrew Robertson, and Trent Alexander-Arnold providing the width and attacking thrust from full-back.

Ibrahima Konate has forced his way into the starting XI alongside Virgil van Dijk, but Joel Matip could be preferred for this one.

Fabinho will continue to dictate things from deep, with Jordan Henderson and Thiago, who has scored two in the past week, either side of him. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will be waiting in the wings.

Salah, Jota and Mane will lead the line, with 25 league goals between them so far this campaign.
