About Roberto Firmino

Who is Roberto Firmino?

Roberto Firmino is 32-years-old, born on 02 October 1991, and is a right-footed professional football player from Brazil. Born in Maceió, AL, Roberto Firmino has also played in Premier League for Liverpool and in Bundesliga for Hoffenheim.

Roberto Firmino moved to Europe with Hoffenheim in 2011 and quickly established himself as a star in the German Bundesliga, netting 37 goals in 107 games for the club. Whilst performing for Brazil at the Copa America, Liverpool agreed a fee to sign the player for a deal in excess of £29 million. Firmino’s form under Brendan Rodgers was up and down, but it would be the arrival of Jurgen Klopp which would see the Brazilian realise his potential as he created a devastating attacking triumvirate with Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane. A central striker known as much for his ability to bring others into the game as he is for his own goalscoring explots, he was essential in Liverpool's run to the 2018 Champions League final, and the 2019 final, with them winning the latter. He currently plays as a Striker (Centre) in Saudi Professional League for club Al Ahli Saudi.
