Conte needs a win - How Inter could line-up against Sassuolo

The Nerazzurri were comfortably defeated by Real Madrid in the Champions League during the week and haven't convinced lately in Serie A either

Inter head coach Antonio Conte is under increasing pressure this weekend when the Nerazzurri take on high-flying Sassuolo in Serie A.

They have won just half of their games in the league so far, and have been poor in the Champions League, too.

On Wednesday, Arturo Vidal saw red after accosting the referee against Real Madrid, which led to a relatively comfortable 2-0 win for Los Blancos at San Siro.

However, despite his transgression against Madrid, Vidal will probably feature against Sassuolo as Inter are missing a number of central midfielders.

Marcelo Brozovic has coronavirus, while Stefano Sensi and Matias Vecino are out injured.

Daniele Padelli and Aleksandar Kolarov are also currently in quarantine and will not feature.

That will probably lead to a midfield of Achraf Hakimi, Vidal, Nicolo Barella, Roberto Gagliardini, and potentially, Ivan Perisic, with Ashley Young replaced on the left.

Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez will start up front despite Alexis Sanchez scoring in the comeback win against Torino last week.
