    Lautaro Martínez is 24-years-old, born on 22 August 1997, and is a right-footed professional football player from Argentina. Born in Bahía Blanca, Buenos Aires, Lautaro Martínez has also played in Copa Libertadores for Racing Club.

    Lautaro Martinez is the latest in a long line of centre-forwards to emerge from Argentina with an exciting reputation. After starring for Racing Club domestically as well as in the Copa Libertadores, Martinez caught the eye of a host of European clubs and in 2018, he made the move to Italy with Inter, for a reported fee of €23m. There he has been partnered with another Argentine, Mauro Icardi. He is a powerful striker with plenty of speed at his disposal, and made his senior international debut for Argentina in a match against Spain in 2018. As the Argentina team goes through a period of transition, a series of good performances in Serie A could see Martinez become a staple of the national side for years to come. He currently plays as a Striker in Serie A for club Inter.
