    About Arturo Vidal

    Who is Arturo Vidal?

Arturo Vidal is 37-years-old, born on 22 May 1987, and is a right-footed professional football player from Chile. Born in Santiago, Arturo Vidal has also played in Série A for Paranaense, in Série A for Flamengo, in Supercoppa for Inter, in Supercopa de España for Barcelona, in Bundesliga for Bayern, in Serie A for Juventus and in Bundesliga for Leverkusen.

Arturo Vidal is at times a hot-headed, controversial figure, but when fit and at the top of his game, there are few central midfielders who can compete with him. A key driver in the rejuvenation of Juventus as a modern force, his box-to-box running and indefatigable approach perfectly complimented the likes of Andrea Pirlo and Paul Pogba alongside him. For his national side of Chile he proved, in the main, to be an inspirational leader, helping to deliver back-to-back Copas America in 2015 and 2016, earning a move to Bayern Munich in the process. His move there has had its injury problems and success has been restricted to domestic honours, but a surprising switch to Barcelona in 2018 heralded a new spell in his career, proving that he could still compete for a place in one of the most expensively assembled squads in world football. He currently plays as a Midfielder, Attacking Midfielder (Centre) in Primera División for club Colo-Colo.
