Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be hopeful of having Edinson Cavani in his squad for Wednesday's Premier League fixture against Crystal Palace.

The Uruguayan has been absent with a muscle issue and just missed out on the weekend's game with Chelsea.

Though Cavani is unlikely to play from the start versus Palace due to the Manchester Derby coming up this weekend, we may see him make an appearance from the bench.

Anthony Martial was named as a substitute for the game against Chelsea but should be recalled to the starting XI for this one, probably at the expense of Daniel James.

That will see Mason Greenwood move back out to the right wing, with Marcus Rashford on the left and Bruno Fernandes in the middle behind the striker.

Further back, Solskjaer may opt for some squad rotation which could see Nemanja Matic earn a starting berth in central midfield alongside Scott McTominay, with Fred dropping down to the bench.

Donny van de Beek returned from injury for the Chelsea game but didn't receive any minutes, so he'll be hoping for at least an appearance as a substitute if he doesn't start this one.

Luke Shaw might be given a rest which will mean a start for Alex Telles, while Eric Bailly could come into the starting XI, too, in place of Victor Lindelof.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka will start at right-back, with David De Gea in goal again.

Paul Pogba, Phil Jones, and Juan Mata are definite absentees.
