France head coach Didier Deschamps could opt to rest Benjamin Pavard for Saturday's Euro 2020 group stage clash against Hungary.
In the opening match for Les Bleus the Bayern Munich defender was involved in a collision with Germany's Robin Gosens and it was later revealed that he lost consciousness for a few seconds.
He would later recover to continue in the match but France and the team doctors have received widespread criticism for allowing Pavard to continue despite the knock to the head.
The French football authority were even asked to explain their decision by UEFA.
Even though Pavard has believed to have fully recovered from the incident, Deschamps may take him out of the limelight and opt for Leo Dubois at right-back.
Hugo Lloris will start in goal, with Dubois joining Raphael Varane, Presnel Kimpembe and Lucas Hernandes in the backline.
As France are involved in the 'Group of Death' in the tournament they still have Portugal to face on the final day, so a game against the weakest team in the group Hungary presents an ideal scenario to tweak things a little.
Since becoming a coach, Deschamps has never kept the same team between the first and the second match of a final phase.
The French press have suggested that might change for Deschamps, but it could be a toss up between Adrien Rabiot and Corentin Tolisso as to who joins N'Golo Kante and Paul Pogba in the midfield three.
The front three of Karim Benzema, Antoine Griezmann and Kylian Mbappe will remain.
