Separated by just three points in League A Group 1 of the UEFA Nations League, Poland will host Croatia at Stadion Narodowy in Warsaw on Tuesday. Both teams are battling for a top-two finish, making this a crucial encounter.

Poland Recent Form

Poland's campaign has been inconsistent, and they come into this match after a tough 3-1 loss to Portugal. Despite Piotr Zielinski pulling one back, an own goal from Jan Bednarek sealed their fate.

This was Poland’s fourth defeat in their last six matches, leaving them in third place in the group. The side have also struggled at home, losing their last three Nations League home games.

Injury and Team News

Poland’s squad will miss Bartlomiej Dragowski, Mateusz Skrzypczak, and Kacper Kozlowski due to injuries.

Defender Sebastian Walukiewicz was substituted at half-time against Portugal but might return for this clash. Robert Lewandowski, Poland's talisman with 84 goals, is expected to lead the line once again, possibly alongside Krzysztof Piatek.

Last Poland Lineup

Here is how Poland lined up for their last match against Portugal:

Croatia Recent Form

Croatia come into this match with some momentum after a comeback win against Scotland, where Igor Matanovic and Andrej Kramaric turned the tide after an early Scottish goal. This win followed their previous 1-0 victory over Poland, moving them to second place, just behind Portugal. Croatia have won four of their last five Nations League games away from home.

Injury and Team News

Croatia are hopeful that Mateo Kovacic will return after missing the Scotland match due to the birth of his child. Luka Modric, who played a full 90 minutes at the weekend, may be rested.

Mario Pasalic, who started against Scotland, could make way for Kovacic if he’s available.

Last Croatia Lineup

Here is how Croatia lined up for their last match against Scotland:

Prediction

Both teams are fighting for a spot in the knockout stages, and with Poland’s struggles in recent matches, Croatia might hold a slight edge.

However, with Lewandowski in attack, Poland can always pose a threat. A low-scoring draw seems a likely outcome.

Our Prediction: Poland 1-1 Croatia.

Betting Tips

Tip 1

Both Teams to Score – With both teams capable of finding the net, expect goals on both ends.

Tip 2

Under 2.5 Goals – Croatia’s recent matches have been low-scoring affairs, and Poland might struggle against their disciplined defence.

Tip 3

Draw – With evenly matched squads and a lot at stake, a draw seems a probable result.
