AC Milan will be looking to get back to winning ways as they travel to face Fiorentina at the Stadio Artemio Franchi on Sunday night. While Milan have been in excellent form domestically, winning their last three Serie A matches, Fiorentina have struggled to find consistency, with only one win in their opening seven league games.

Both sides are eager for points as they aim to solidify their positions in the table, setting up an intriguing clash in Florence.

Fiorentina Recent Form

Fiorentina enter this match in mixed form, having secured a 2-0 win against TNS in the Europa Conference League but struggling domestically. They managed just one victory in their first seven Serie A matches, which included a frustrating 0-0 draw with Empoli last weekend.

Notably, they have lost four of their last five encounters with AC Milan, and will be hoping for a stronger showing at home on Sunday.

Injury and Team News - Fiorentina

Fiorentina will be without Croatian defender Marin Pongračić, who is still sidelined with a knock. However, both Pietro Comuzzo and Lucas Martinez Quarta are expected to return after missing European fixtures due to suspension.

Moise Kean, who scored midweek, is likely to start, and newly signed David de Gea should continue as the starting goalkeeper.

Last Fiorentina Lineup

Here is how Fiorentina lined up for their last match:

AC Milan Recent Form

AC Milan suffered a 1-0 defeat to Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League earlier this week, highlighting their continental struggles. However, they are in fine domestic form, winning their last three Serie A matches by an aggregate score of 9-1, including a 3-0 victory over Lecce. Milan will be eager to bounce back with another strong league performance.

Injury and Team News - AC Milan

AC Milan are without 18-year-old Davide Bartesaghi, suspended after a red card against Lecce. Ismaël Bennacer remains sidelined due to a long-term calf injury. On a positive note, Álvaro Morata is expected to return to the starting lineup, while Christian Pulisic, with four Serie A goals this season, will spearhead their attack.

Last AC Milan Lineup

Here is how AC Milan lined up for their last match:

Fiorentina Player to Watch

Moise Kean has been in good form, coming off the bench to score midweek. With his pace and power, he will be a key figure in Fiorentina's attack as they look to break Milan’s solid defensive line.

Prediction

AC Milan are favourites to take all three points in Florence. With their domestic form looking strong and Fiorentina’s struggles to find consistency, Milan should have the edge. A narrow win for the Rossoneri looks likely, especially considering their 12 points from the last five meetings with Fiorentina.

Our Prediction: Fiorentina 0 - 1 AC Milan

Betting Tips

Tip 1

AC Milan Draw No Bet - Milan’s form makes them a strong contender, but opting for the safer "Draw No Bet" reduces risk in case of a stalemate.

Tip 2

Both Teams to Score - Given Fiorentina's scoring ability at home and Milan’s attacking prowess, this match could see both teams on the scoresheet.

Tip 3

Under 2.5 Goals - Despite the attacking potential on both sides, a tight and cautious approach is expected, making under 2.5 goals a solid option.
