About Rodrigo

Who is Rodrigo?

Rodrigo is 33-years-old, born on 06 March 1991, and is a left-footed professional football player from Spain. Born in Rio de Janeiro, RJ, Rodrigo has also played in Premier League for Leeds Utd, in Copa del Rey for Valencia, in Primeira Liga for Benfica, in Premier League for Bolton and in Primera Division for Real Madrid.

Rodrigo’s younger days were spent in the youth squads of Celta Vigo and then eventually Real Madrid, where his reputation was significant but he was unable to make an impact on the first team. A move to Benfica materialised and transformed Rodrigo into a consistently prolific goalscorer. winning four Portuguese titles and the domestic treble in 2013-14. An unsuccessful loan spell at Bolton Wanderers followed, but he found greater success with Valencia initially on loan and then after a permanent transfer worth €30 million. Rodrigo is a full international with Spain and given La Roja's issues in attack in the last few tournaments, he could emerge as their central attacker for many years to come. He currently plays as a Striker, Attacking Midfielder (Centre) in Qatar Stars League for club Al Rayyan.
