Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will be demanding all three points from his side when they visit West Brom on Sunday afternoon.
The former English champions are still in pursuit of a top four finish before the end of the season and Klopp’s team will know anything but a win could rule out Champions League football for next season.
In defence Klopp will take encouragement from strong defensive performances against Manchester United. Trent Alexander-Arnold, Andy Robertson and Nathaniel Phillips all stood out for Liverpool and should be joined alongside Rhys Williams in a traditional back four.
In midfield the Liverpool manager may be tempted to give Curtis Jones a start but is likely to stick with his tried and tested method of a midfield trio of Thiago Alcantara, Fabinho and Gini Wijnaldum.
Klopp will have a big decision to make up front, where a disgruntled and out-of-form Sadio Mane may demand a start on the left, instead of Diogo Jota. If Klopp indulges his player he’ll start alongside Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah.
