The Premier League returns with a bang following the international break on Saturday as Tottenham host West Ham in the early kick-off.
It's fair to say that both teams have performed below expectations so far in the 2024/25 campaign as Spurs are in ninth, while the Hammers are further down in 12th.
Match Preview
Tottenham Recent Form
In their last outing, they went two goals up on Brighton only to lose 3-2 and Ange Postecoglou claimed it was the worst result he suffered in his tenure as manager so far.
Prior to that, they won four in a row against Brentford and Manchester United in the Premier League and Qarabag and Ferencvaros in the Europa League.
Tottenham Injury News
Spurs are still without Wilson Odobert due to a hamstring issue but are hopeful that Heung-min Son, Richarlison and Lucas Bergval may play a part.
Son has been struggling with a thigh injury and had to withdraw from the South Korea squad. Should he return, it will be Timo Werner making way.

West Ham Recent Form
West Ham recorded a much-needed victory in their last game as they ran out 4-1 winners against Ipswich at the London Stadium, with Michail Antonio, Mohammed Kudus, Jarrod Bowen and Lucas Paqueta scoring the goals.
They were on a wretched run of five without a win prior to that, with losses against Man City, Chelsea and Liverpool and draws against Fulham and Brentford.
The defeat against Liverpool was a damaging one as it was 5-1 and knocked them out of the League Cup.
West Ham Injury News
West Ham's only major injury concern surrounds Niclas Fullkrug as he remains absent due to an Achilles problem.

Tottenham - Player To Watch
Son has missed the last couple of games for Spurs and it is clear that they miss his ruthlessness in the final third as they should have been out of sight against Brighton last time out.
West Ham - Player To Watch
Bowen was sensational for West Ham last season and against Ipswich he showed signs of that kind of form again with a goal and an assist.
Tottenham vs West Ham - Prediction
Spurs should have Son back for this one which will provide a major boost as they really do need his quality in the final third to see out matches in the Premier League. There should be goals in this one, though.
