Ipswich will look to claim their first win of the Premier League season on Saturday when they face Everton in a huge clash at Portman Road.

The two sides have had 14 opportunities between them to win a league game this season, and only once has it happened as Everton beat Crystal Palace at the start of October.

Match Preview

Ipswich Recent Form

Ipswich are currently down in 17th in the Premier League, having failed to win any of their opening seven games.

In those seven matches they have lost against Liverpool, Man City and West Ham and drew four versus Fulham, Brighton, Southampton and Aston Villa.

Ipswich Injury News

Axel Tuanzebe and Massimo Luongo are still out, the former after a freak accident that nearly cost him his thumb.

Janoi Donacien and Ali Al-Hamadi are doubts after they missed the international break with St Lucia and Iraq, though Jens Cajuste and Nathan Broadhead are close to making a return, even if this weekend may come one game too early.

Everton Recent Form

Unlike Ipswich, Everton have claimed a win this campaign and it came on 5th October at home to Crystal Palace when they won 2-1.

The Toffees are actually unbeaten in three, as before and after the Palace win they drew 1-1 with Leicester and 0-0 versus Newcastle.

Everton Injury News

Jarrad Branthwaite missed the draw against Newcastle and Sean Dyche has revealed that the player will be assessed before kick-off.

Iliman Ndiaye was subbed off due to injury in Senegal's game against Malawi but recovered to feature in his nation's next match a few days later so should be fine to feature here.

James Garner has suffered a back injury and misses this one.

Ipswich vs Everton - Prediction

Ipswich are too good a side to go heavy into the Premier League campaign without recording a win and this presents one of the best opportunities they will have to claim all three points before Christmas, especially with the game coming at Portman Road.
