Liverpool will be hoping Fabinho shakes off an ankle injury before this weekend's Premier League clash against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
The Brazilian was in top form on Thursday as the Reds defeated Arsenal in the semi final of the League Cup, but he did pick up an ankle injury.
The issue is not believed to be serious, though, and Fabinho should be cleared fit to start against Palace.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is a doubt, also due to an ankle problem, while Liverpool will once again be without Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Naby Keita due to their participation in the Africa Cup of Nations.

Joel Matip was replaced at half-time due to fitness issues against Arsenal, so Ibrahima Konate might come in alongside Virgil van Dijk.
Thiago, Harvey Elliott, Nat Phillips and Divock Origi remain sidelined.
Alisson will start in goal behind a likely back four of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk and Andy Robertson.
Should Fabinho shake off his ankle problem, he'll start at the base of midfield with Jordan Henderson and Curtis Jones making up the three.
Roberto Firmino and the in-form Diogo Jota are sure-fire starters, with Takumi Minamino potentially dropping in to replace Kaide Gordon.
