Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel will be hoping his side can enact revenge and confirm a top-four finish on Tuesday night when they face Leicester City in the Premier League.
Brendan Rodgers’ side robbed the London club of an FA Cup victory on Saturday afternoon, with a single goal from Youri Tielemans proving enough to beat the Champions League finalists.
However, Tuchel will have to ensure he picks the right side to claim all three points and get his team back to winning ways.
In defence the German manager will undoubtedly drop the error-prone Kepa Arrizabalaga and bring Edouard Mendy back to strengthen his back line. On a similar note, we should see the return of Andreas Christensen to the centre of defence, after the Danish defender was forced to sit out the cup final with an injury.
Tuchel will also be encouraged by the return of midfielder Matteo Kovacic, but may not wish to risk starting the player immediately. Instead, we’ll probably see a similar set up to the cup final, with N’Golo Kante and Jorginho playing behind Mason Mount.
Another addition will likely come in the form of Kai Havertz, who found himself sitting on the bench at Wembley on Saturday. He’ll almost certainly start on Tuesday and provide some much-needed firepower up front.
