A loss against Aston Villa in the Premier League on Sunday may lead to the dismissal of Man Utd boss Erik ten Hag, who is currently under huge pressure at Old Trafford.

United had to rely on a late Harry Maguire header to draw 3-3 away at Porto midweek, while Villa are on cloud nine after beating Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

Match Preview

Aston Villa Recent Form

Since the loss against Arsenal on the second day of the season, Aston Villa have been nearly flawless, winning six of their next seven games across all competitions.

They have beat Leicester, Everton and Wolves in the Premier League, Young Boys and Bayern Munich in the Champions League and Wycombe in the League Cup.

In their last league game, they dropped points in a 2-2 draw away at Ipswich.

Aston Villa Injury News

Tyrone Mings, Boubacar Kamara and John McGinn are still out for Unai Emery, while there are fresh injury concerns for Jacob Ramsey and Amadou Onana following the Bayern win.

Both players were forced off due to a groin and hamstring issue respectively.

Man Utd Recent Form

Man Utd's recent form has put huge pressure on Ten Hag's shoulders.

They are now four games without a win, drawing with Crystal Palace and suffering defeat against Tottenham in the Premier League and drawing with Twente and Porto in the Europa League.

On Thursday, they went two goals up against the Portuguese giants, who eventually went 3-2 up. The Red Devils were saved by a late Maguire header.

Man Utd Injury News

Bruno Fernandes was sent off against Tottenham and faced a three-match ban, but that was subsequently overturned so he is available here, though he was sent off in the Europa League in his next game.

Luke Shaw, Tyrell Malacia and Leny Yoro are out injured.

Kobbie Mainoo and Mason Mount were forced off against Spurs and weren't in the squad for Porto, but both should be fine to feature here.

Aston Villa - Player To Watch

He might not even start this game, but Jhon Duran is certainly the name on every Villa fan's lips at the moment, especially after his wonder goal to beat Bayern Munich. With Jacob Ramsey out, there's a bigger chance of him starting this one, but we'll see him in some capacity regardless.

Man Utd - Player To Watch

For good or bad, Bruno Fernandes has been box office over the last few games. Two red cards in two cards, with one of them rescinded. He's going to have to start impacting games in a more positive manner, though.
