Manchester City winger Ferran Torres leads the Premier League Team of the Week after putting in his best performance of the campaign on Friday evening as Pep Guardiola's side defeated Newcastle 4-3 away from home.

In the entertaining clash, Torres (10) scored a superb hat-trick to ensure Man City won in their first game after being confirmed as champions.

The Spaniard is flanked in the front three by Leeds Utd duo Rodrigo (8.6) and Jack Harrison (8.8).

Rodrigo entered the action against Burnley just before the 60th minute and would go on to score two goals in two minutes between the 77th and 79th minutes, while Harrison scored one himself and recorded two assists.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg (9.8) was excellent for Tottenham as not only did he score a rare goal in the 2-0 win over Wolves, but he dominated the central area with 81/86 completed passes and made 10 ball recoveries, with an assist to boot.

Ilkay Gundogan (8.3) and Thiago Alcantara (8.4) make up the other spots in midfield. Between the two of them, they completed 219 passes and had a remarkable 262 touches of the ball.

One more Leeds star features in Luke Ayling (7.3), who slots in at right-back.

Joao Cancelo (7.8) was once again deployed at left-back for City and makes the Team of the Week after getting on the scoresheet against Newcastle.

Sheffield Utd surprisingly won 1-0 away at Everton, with Jack Robinson (7.5) helping his side earn the clean sheet. Ben Godfrey (7.5), who also featured in that game, was unlucky to be on the losing side.

Rui Patricio (8.3) was on a losing side too for Wolves, but helped kept the scoreline down with no less than nine saves to deny Spurs.
