Harry Kane scored his 12th goal of the Premier League season at the weekend as Tottenham defeated Sheffield Utd 3-1 away from home.
In devastating fashion, the England striker collected the ball near the edge of the box before lashing an emphatic finish into the bottom right corner, leaving the goalkeeper with no chance.
Kane had actually become more of an assist-maker than a goalscorer in 2020/21 as he actually leads the charts for the most assists in the top five leagues this season. However, at the weekend his goalscoring tally usurped his assist count, reminding everyone as his status as a master finisher again.
He is still well off the pace when it comes to the European Golden Shoe leaderboard, though, as Robert Lewandowski is running away with the competition having scored an outrageous 21 goals in the Bundesliga so far. He added another at the weekend versus Freiburg.
At the moment, his nearest challenger is Cristiano Ronaldo on 15 goals and 30 points, but the Portuguese failed to score versus Inter on Sunday, allowing Lewandowski to stretch his lead to six.
Another star who has jumped onto the leaderboard again is Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who scored his first goals since November after being away from the Milan side due to injury and coronavirus isolation. He is now on 12 for the season.
There is a plethora of superstars who are now on 12;
Ibrahimovic, Heung-min Son, Kylian Mbappe, Romelu Lukaku, Erling Haaland, Ciro Immobile, Kane, Andre Silva, Boulaye Dia, and new entry Georgios Giakoumakis of Venlo.

At this stage of the season, the leagues that run on the calendar year - ie 2020 - inevitably get a head start but these days with the league weightings, very few are still there by the end of the traditional 2020/21 campaign.
A reminder: The five elite leagues - Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A and Ligue 1 - all carry a weighting of 2, meaning that a player will be awarded two points for every goal they score in these competitions.
For the leagues ranked sixth to 30 in Uefa's coefficients rankings goals scored are given a weighting of 1.5, and goals scored in a league outwith the top 30, goals are given a weighting of 1.
