Lautaro Martinez struck twice, heading home an early opener before finishing off a brilliant team move just before the hour mark. Romelu Lukaku then got onto the scoresheet himself with a thunderbolt.
So who stood out most?
✔️ GOOD PERFORMANCE
Lautaro Martinez: 9.0
Lautaro has an excellent record in the big matches and he once again stepped up when it really mattered.
The Argentine scored twice for the Nerazzurri, breaking the deadlock with a clinical headed finish from Romelu Lukaku's cross.
He then struck again after the break, finishing off a brilliant team-move which involved Achraf Hakimi, Christian Eriksen and Ivan Perisic.
❌ BAD PERFORMANCE
Simon Kjaer: 6.0
They just couldn't cope with the pace, power and movement of the Inter attackers.
Kjaer has struggled since returning from his injury absence and perhaps Stefano Pioli would have been better off starting Fikayo Tomori instead.
⭐ STAR MAN
Samir Handanovic: 9.5
The veteran Slovenian has been heavily criticised this season but has returned to form in recent weeks.
He made two sensational stops in quick succession from Zlatan Ibrahimovic headers, before then brilliantly tipping Sandro Tonali's drive over the bar. Soon after Inter doubled their lead to take the game away from Milan.
Although Inter were clearly the deserved winners on the day, Handanovic still made an incredible eight saves.
