Jurgen Klopp could be set to hand a Champions League starting debut to Diogo Jota after the Portuguese scored the winning goal against Sheffield Utd on Saturday.

Against the Blades, Klopp changed from a 4-3-3 to a 4-2-3-1 in order to accommodate Jota alongside the usual trio of Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah, and Roberto Firmino.

Should the German decide against resting any of those four players against a team they should very easily be defeating in Midtjylland, that's the formation they will play on Tuesday.

After a spurt of injuries issues, Liverpool were thought to have had Thiago and Joel Matip back for this one, but the pair, along with Naby Keita, are out according to Klopp

Fabinho has excelled in the centre-back position in Virgil van Dijk's absence, and will feature there again if Matip is still out.

With the Brazilian in defence and Thiago and Keita out, the midfield pairing will probably be Gini Wijnaldum and Jordan Henderson.

Alisson was welcomed back straight into the starting XI against Sheffield Utd and will make his first Champions League appearance of the season on Tuesday.
