About Malcom
Who is Malcom?
Malcom is 27-years-old, born on 26 February 1997, and is a left-footed professional football player from Brazil. Born in São Paulo, SP, Malcom has also played in RFPL for Zenit, in Copa del Rey for Barcelona, in Coupe de France for Bordeaux and in Série A for Corinthians.
Malcom is one of a raft of exciting young Brazilian wingers currently plying their trade in Europe. After starring for Corinthians, a move to Girondins de Bordeaux followed and it was in France where he would make his name, lighting up Ligue 1 with his dribbling ability whilst also scoring the goal of the season in 2018. In that summer, he would make a huge €41 million transfer to Barcelona as part of a squad revamp for the Catalan side. His unconventional Brazilian name can be explained by his father’s admiration for African American civil rights activist, Malcolm X, whom the player is named after. He currently plays as a Winger, Attacking Midfielder (Right) in Saudi Professional League for club Al Hilal Saudi.
