About FA Community Shield

Founded in 1993, the Czech First League is the top division of Czech football. It contains 16 teams. The season runs from August to May, and teams play each other both home and away to fulfil a total of 30 games. The First League has promotion and relegation linked to the Czech National Football League, the second tier. Two teams are relegated from the First League, and two teams are promoted from the National Football League, each season. Thirty-two different clubs have competed since its inception, with Sparta Prague winning the most titles (12). The competition's all-time leading goalscorer is David Lafata (151 goals).
