    Who is Ederson?

    Ederson is 28-years-old, born on 17 August 1993, and is a left-footed professional football player from Brazil. Born in Osasco, SP, Ederson has also played in Taça de Portugal for SL Benfica, in Liga2 Cabovisão for SL Benfica B and in Primeira Liga for Rio Ave.

    When Pep Guardiola took over as Manchester City boss, high on his priority list was to bring in a goalkeeper comfortable with the ball at his feet, one who could build attacks from deep. When the experiment of Claudio Bravo failed, City opened their chequebook to land Ederson, who impressed for Benfica, famed for the length of his kicking and his composure in possession. Ederson would play a key role in taking City to the next level in their development and won the Premier League at a canter in 2018. He is a full international for Brazil, but is currently the understudy to his fellow Premier League goalkeeper, Alisson.He currently plays as a Goalkeeper in Premier League for club Man City.
