About AFC Champions League

Founded in 1932, Ligue 1 (formerly National and Division 1) is the top division of French football. It contains 20 teams. The season runs from August to May, and teams play each other both home and away to fulfil a total of 38 games. Ligue 1 has promotion and relegation linked to French Ligue 2, the second tier.
