Monaco, after a difficult start to the season, are finally playing to a level their excellent squad should be achieving, and Bin Yedder was superb in the dismantling of Lille. His neat run and through pass set up Gelson Martins for the opener, he bundled one in from close range to extend the lead, then slammed home his second to seal the win. He also completed five dribbles in an all-round display leading the line.
Mbappe became the youngest player to score 30 goals in a calendar year in Ligue 1 after his double against Amiens. Neymar sent him clear to audaciously dink the ball over the flailing goalkeeper, then blasted home at the near post in the second half. The newly-blonde superstar touched the ball an astonishing 17 times in the opposition penalty area, seven more than any other player this weekend. He is getting better, if that's possible.
Alongside Mbappe, Neymar is finding his rhythm after an injury-hit start to the season and at times he looks simply far too good for this level. He sent Mbappe through on goal to finish and tapped one in himself, but his all-round passing, chance creation and dribbling ability are simply elite. His understanding with Mbappe could lead PSG to unsurpassed heights this season, especially in Europe.
Montpellier were simply too good for Brest and Gaetan Laborde's incisive finishing was a key difference between the sides. For his first he took advantage of a poor clearance to strike high into the net from the edge of the area, and effectively clinched victory, chipping home from the edge of the area after the keeper had came out to clear. He also led the line superbly, winning 8/9 aerial challenges and making five recoveries.
Ferhat couldn't have done any more to create openings for his team in their defeat away to Marseille, creating three big chances for team-mates only to see them squandered. He did eventually rack up an assist, going on a superb run before laying on Anthony Briancon for a consolation. His create play, passing and vision were superb and with some better attacking play, he team could have left with at least a point.
HONOURABLE MENTIONS
Monaco defender Ruben Aguilar (8.5) laid on two assists in their win over Lille.
ROUND TO FORGET
Mike Maignan (4.5) managed just one save and instead picked the ball out of the net five times.
