Borussia Dortmund made it five wins in a row in all competitions after defeating championship rivals, Gladbach, 2-1 away from home.
Thorgan Hazard would come back to haunt his former club to open the scoring with just eight minutes on the clock.
After initially taking a poor touch after Erling Haaland sent him into the box with a pass, he superbly sends no less than three Gladbach defenders the wrong way with a feigned strike with his right foot before shifting possession behind him to curl a cracking effort into the left corner with his opposite foot this time.
