Not a vintage week of goals in either the Champions League or Europa League, but there were some worth checking out.
PSG's destruction of Real Madrid featured a few lovely team goals, while Bayern get inventive to see of Crvena Zvedza.
5. OLD-FASHIONED WING PLAY
In a match that was far more thrilling than most people expected, Atletico and Juventus played out an entertaining 2-2 draw, but the Italian side were better for long spells. They scored two superb goals, the first a sweeping team effort rounded off by Blaise Matuidi, but Cuadrado's old-school shift and curl into the corner was more satisfying.
4. HEAD ON A SWIVEL
Sadly Thomas, this one's not about you, but rather the sheer impudence shown by Thiago Alcantara in creating the clinching goal in Bayern's win over Crvena Zvedza. Thiago's head is on a swivel, looking for options, and he flicks the ball over the wall right onto the foot of Muller, who sweeps home.
3. ATTACKING FULL-BACKS
PSG really put Real Madrid to the sword in Paris, and their victory was capped off by the fact that in the closing moments their two most advanced players were the full-backs, Thomas Meunier and Juan Bernat. Meunier steals the ball from an errant Toni Kroos pass and bursts forward, sharing a one-two with Bernat to pass into the net. Whisper it - PSG look good.
2. KERESU CRACKER
The Europa League this week was more characterised by horrendous goalkeeping rather than good goals, but Claudiu Keresu's brilliantly-timed volley was a real highlight. A crossfield pass lands right on his right left foot at the edge of the area, and he send his effort outside of the post, bringing it back in brilliantly to find the corner. A great goal.
ANGEL IN PARIS
Angel Di Maria may struggle for game time this season considering PSG's ludicrous striking options, but with Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Edinson Cavani all absent against Real Madrid, he took full advantage. The second of his strikes saw Gueye aggressively winning possession, allowing Di Mari to whip his shot beautifully into the corner and remind Madrid what he was always capable of.
Chicharito and Munir were on fine form foe Sevilla, the former curling in a superb free-kick while Munir's lob was as cheeky as it gets.
Wahbi Khazri, of ex-Sunderland fame, smashed home a rocket at St Etienne went down 3-2 in Gent.
