Goals, goals, goals.

Some lovely efforts over the course of the weekend in Europe? We've attempted to rank them here and you'll probably disagree.

5. A FIRST TOUCH TO DIE FOR

St. Etienne came back from 2-0 down in a cracking clash with Toulouse in Ligue 1, with Hamouma scoring both goals, the first one a particular highlight. Yann M'Vila's speculative long ball is pulled from the air with incredible precision by the veteran winger, the ball spinning perfectly into position for him to curl home gloriously in one beautiful movement.

4. MOVE, MOVE, MOVE, SHOOT

Celta Vigo largely self-destructed here, having two men sent off, but Granada took full advantage of the situation to clinch a deserved victory. The result was sealed by Yangel Herrera, who nudges the ball into the space where an opposition player would normally have been and then rasps his 30-yard-shot in off the crossbar at an incredible pace.

3. AN ASSIST TO REMEMBER

Liverpool's front three tearing a team to shreds is a weekly occurrence these days, but they toiled slightly until Divock Origi's injury meant Roberto Firmino was summoned off the bench. In the second half he was mesmerising, capped by his nonchalant, stupidly good assist for Salah, dragging then flicking a pass exquisitely into the Egyptian's path, who duly finishes. A rare example of the assist being better than the goal.

2.... AND HE'S GONE

Abraham has endured a testing start to his first-choice Chelsea career after years of loans, but has responded in style with seven goals in three goals and the last of those against Wolves showcased rarely confidence and ability. He shows Conor Coady the ball then flashes past him in a heartbeat and swerves his finish with consummate accuracy.

1. YOU CAN'T KEEP A GOOD PLAYER DOWN

The Parc des Princes audience might have been relentlessly booing the returning Brazilian after his incessant desire to depart over the summer, but there can be no denying he tried everything to give PSG a win in a match where they struggled. After arguably trying a little too hard, he delivered when it mattered, somersaulting in an unorthodox overhead kick in injury time that showcased that, despite all the chat, the talent has never went anywhere.

HONOURABLE MENTIONS

MOUSSA DJENEPO's arrival in the Southampton team was rubber-stamped with his stunning goal against Sheffield United, showing strength, pace and power to score a lovely individual effort.

Frenkie de Jong's goal at the Camp Nou in Barcelona's 5-2 destruction of Valencia owed a huge debt to the frightening talents of 16-year-old winger Anssumane Fati, who at such a young age looks to be an unbelievable talent.

Ajax's NICOLAS TAGLIAFICO emerges at the back post to latch onto Hakim Ziyech's teasing cross, and stretches acrobatically to volley back across the goalkeeper and into the corner. Great goal, even better from a full-back.
