Gladbach are the best represented side in the Bundesliga Team of the Week, with Breel Embolo (9.8) the best player of the weekend as he scored two and set-up another in the win over Freiburg to maintain their league at the top of the table. The Switzerland international is joined by Denis Zakaria (7.9) and Patrick Herrmann (7.8), with the latter scoring the third goal of the game.

The other two players to make up the dynamic front three are Leon Bailey (8.4) who scored two in the surprising result of the weekend as Leverkusen beat Bayern 2-1 at the Allianz, and Timo Werner (8.6) who netted RB Leipzig's important third goal in the 3-2 win versus Paderborn.

Florian Grillitsch (8) slots in beside the Gladbach boys in midfield.

Philipp Max (7.6) earns his position at left-back for the second week in a row, with William (8.1) at right-back after scoring for Wolfsburg.

In between those two are Kevin Vogt (7.9) and Andre Hoffmann (7.7).

Lukas Hradecky (9) was remarkable in goal as Leverkusen held Bayern, as he made no less than 10 saves.
