Leicester are clear top four contenders in the Premier League this season and although Southampton, after losing a defender to an early red card, put up minimal resistance it's still an incredible feat to score nine goals in a single match. Both Ayoze Perez and Jamie Vardy scored hat-tricks and Ben Chilwell proved as effective as any playmaker from left-back. Brendan Rodgers side were relentless, hitting the target with 15 out of 25 shots in a totally dominant display.
Their debut Champions League campaign has unfortunately not gone to plan - losing three out of three and conceding 11 goals in the process - but domestically Atalanta are the third force behind Juventus and Inter and are a regularly thrilling watch. Despite main striker Duvan Zapata being out injured, Luis Muriel has stepped in to enjoy converting the chances being created by the likes of Alejandro Gomez. Here they absolutely battered a poor Udinese side but with an xG score of 5.15 against their actual seven total, this result was comprehensive and deserved.
PSG have been in ominous form in recent weeks, racking up four, four, five and another four goals here in a depressingly one-sided le Classique. Marseille have had virtually nothing to shout about in this fixture for a decade and here it continued with Kylian Mbappe, Angel Di Maria and Mauro Icardi all in sensational form. The game was decided by half-time and Mbappe's second goal is worth seeking out for an example of a sweeping team move. All this with Neymar injured.
Osasuna at home, across last season in the Segunda and this, are literally unbeatable, racking up 30 games without loss, and after suffering an early setback against Valencia they came back in sensational style. Rodrigo's opener and then subsequent red card allowed Osasuna to get a foothold, and from there they put the screws to Valencia, controlling the flow and tempo of the match and could easily have won by more.
Fener moved up to second in the Turkish Super Lig off the back of a thumping 5-1 win over Konyaspor, showcasing some clinical finishing in the process. Garry Rodrigues' goal to open things up was particularly memorable, as was Vedat Muriqi's curler to round off the win. Their form has been patchy of late, winning just one of their previous three, but this result very much set them back on track domestically.
