Italy beat Belgium 2-1 in Munich to progress to the Euro 2020 semi-finals.
Nicolo Barella opened the scoring after 31 minutes after Leonardo Bonucci had a goal disallowed for offside before Lorenzo Insigne quickly added another.
Although Romelu Lukaku got one back, it was not enough to salvage the situation for Roberto Martinez's side.

MCL
Italy
Dominated the game in the centre of the park for Italy, keeping things ticking over nicely when he was in possession. Showed occasional forward thrust and was typically tenacious when his side did not have the ball. Created the opening goal.

S
Belgium
Belgium's key man kept them in the game shortly before the break as he converted a penalty won by Jeremy Doku. The Inter striker also had the best sights of goal for his side in the second half, but either the ball would not sit correctly or he was unable to find the right connection. Saw a glaring chance cleared from the line by Leonardo Spinazzola.

AML
Italy
Scored one of the goals of the tournaments as he notched Italy's second following a brilliant solo run that saw him carry the ball 30 yards forward before depositing a curling shot from range into the corner of the net. A winning goal worthy of the match.
