Newcastle's unbeaten start to the new Premier League campaign continued on Sunday as they came back from behind to defeat Wolves at Molineux.

The home side took the lead in the first half through Mario Lemina but Eddie Howe's men rallied in the second period and eventually equalised through Fabian Schar.

Substitute Harvey Barnes then emerged as the match-winner with a stunning effort into the top right corner from 25 yards to make it 2-1 to Newcastle.

Player of the Match

One player certainly unlucky to be on the losing side was Lemina.

It was the midfielder who initially gave Wolves the lead in the first half, finishing off a lovely move in the 36th minute with a composed finish at the back post.

He was combative as ever in the middle of the pitch, winning the majority of his ground duels as well as 100% of his tackles (2/2) and 100% of his aerial duels (2/2).

Lemina created one big chance, had 49 touches of the ball and completed 27/31 attempted passes.

Worst Player

It was certainly an afternoon to forget for Craig Dawson.

He only won 50% of his duels and 50% of his aerial duels, and that latter stat is certainly surprising for someone who prides himself on aerial prowess.

Crucially, he only completed one ball recovery and didn't make a single interception or tackle.

His afternoon was summed up as Schar's strike cannoned off him for the equaliser.
