Lionel Messi could be seen abusing a member of the Bolivian coaching staff following a fiery encounter which saw Argentina win 2-1.

The visitors actually went 1-0 down on Tuesday, but goals from Lautaro Martinez and Joaquin Correa turned the scoreline around to secure Argentina's second win on the bounce after beating Ecuador a few days ago.

Remarkably, the goals from the pair were the first time in four years that an Argentine World Cup qualifying goal was not scored by Messi.

Even though his side eventually won, the Barca superstar took umbrage with the behaviour of one of the Bolivian assistant coaches, saying:

"What's your problem, baldy?"

The win was Argentina's first in La Paz for 15 years.
