Tottenham attacker Carlos Vinicius enjoyed a perfect afternoon on Sunday as he scored a hat-trick and earned himself a FC Rating of 10 during the 5-0 thrashing of Marine.

Vinicius was handed his first domestic start of the season and did not disappoint as Spurs emphatically avoided a third round cup exit against their non-league opponents.

⏱️ 24’ Vinicius broke the deadlock from close range, smashing the ball in the net at the second attempt after good work and a fine cross from Dele Alli.

⏱️ 30’ Vinicius doubled his tally from a few yards out after Matt Doherty had been denied at the back-post.

⏱️ 37’ Vinicius completed his hat-trick before half time with a delightful moment of improvisation. He delicately lobbed the goalkeeper with a left-footed side-volley from inside the area.

Lucas Moura and 16-year-old Alfie Devine scored the other goals in the 5-0 win.

In his last outing that constituted more than a few minutes, Vinicius earned a 7.4 FC Rating against Antwerp in the Europa League - a match in which he also scored in.

Vinicius: What Next?
