Real Madrid are already champions but they still have two Primera Division games left to navigate before they can fully focus on the Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund.

This weekend they face a tough task in overcoming Villarreal away from home.

Villarreal current form

Villarreal are currently eighth in La Liga but still hold very, very slim hopes of qualifying for the Europa Conference League. In order for that to happen they need Betis to lose both remaining matches, while they need to win their remaining two matches.

The Yellow Submarine have won four out of their last five in La Liga, with the one loss coming against Celta.

Last time out, they impressively defeated Girona 1-0 away.

Real Madrid current form

Even though Madrid were crowned champions with a recent win over Cadiz, they haven't taken their foot off the gas as they've won their subsequent two league matches 4-0 against Granada and 5-0 against Alaves.

Villarreal vs Real Madrid Team News

Raul Albiol, Francis Coquelin, Alfonso Pedraza, Gerard Moreno, Juan Foyth, Denis Suarez and Yeremy Pino are all likely to be out, while Kiko Femenia is suspended following a dismissal against Girona.

There are only two definite absentees for Madrid - David Alaba and Aurelien Tchouameni. The latter faces a battle to be fit for the Champions League final.

Carlo Ancelotti will continue to rotate in the league ahead of that huge clash against BVB.
