Hansi Flick has no fresh injury concerns for Bayern's opening Champions League match of the season against Atletico Madrid.

At the weekend, key player Joshua Kimmich was rested as he and his partner had just had a baby, but expect the influential German to be restored to the starting XI in the Champions League at the expense of Corentin Tolisso.

Leroy Sane is a continued absentee for Bayern due to an ongoing knee injury, but has returned to full training and is expected to be available for selection within the next week or two.

In the wide areas against Atletico, Serge Gnabry and Kingsley Coman will likely retain their places from the weekend with Douglas Costa kept in reserve.

Niklas Sule, David Alaba, and Benjamin Pavern will start again, too, with the only question mark presenting itself to the left-back position.

Flick can choose between either Lucas Hernandez or Alphonso Davies, and it really does depend on how he sees the game going.

As Atletico do have players who can hurt Bayern at the back, the more defensively-minded Hernandez may be given the nod.

Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Muller will once again start in the nine and 10 roles, respectively.
