Frank Lampard could start all his summer signings for the first time this weekend as Chelsea travel to Manchester United.

The likes of Timo Werner, Kai Havertz, Ben Chilwell, Thiago Silva, Edouard Mendy, and Hakim Ziyech have all played at least one game for the club now, but due to injuries or coronavirus isolations they haven't all started a match together yet.

That could all change as they take on Man Utd.

The only injury that Chelsea currently have in their senior squad is for Billy Gilmour.

Lampard has plenty of options in attack, which will certainly leave some players disappointed at not making the starting XI.

Mason Mount and Jorginho were both substituted just after the hour mark in the 0-0 draw with Sevilla during the week, and could see their places taken by Hakim Ziyech and Mateo Kovacic.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, on the other hand, still has some selection issues, particularly in defence.

Eric Bailly is a definite absentee, while they will give every chance to Harry Maguire to prove his fitness after he missed the Champions League win against PSG.

Axel Tuanzebe basically played his way into contention for the Chelsea game with his outstanding outing versus the French champions.

Fred and Scott McTominay, too, were outstanding in the middle of the park and it makes you wonder whether Solskjaer could opt for another counterattack-based system in a big match.

It worked for them on Tuesday, and has done in the past.

Anthony Martial is suspended after his red card against Spurs, which could mean a start for Edinson Cavani, with Solskjaer saying the Uruguayan has trained well this week.
