Serge Gnabry's brilliant performance against Schalke on Friday evening was the highlight of the game as Bayern smashed David Wagner's side 8-0, earning himself a perfect 10 FC Rating.
⚽ ⏱️ 3' Just three minutes into the contest Gnabry controlled a raking ball over the top instantly before swivelling onto his left foot and burying his shot into the corner with a lovely curling shot.
⚽ ⏱️ 46' Early in the second half Leroy Sane sprinted clear of the woeful Schalke back line and as the ball rebounded from the goalkeeper, Gnabry was there to sweep up and tap into the empty net.
⚽ ⏱️ 58' And Sane, who was also excellent in the contest, broke clear once again and slipped the ball across to his fellow wide player, allowing Gnabry the most straightforward of hat-tricks.
No player touched the ball more inside the opposition penalty area (13) throughout the full weekend of Bundesliga matches while he also created a huge three Big Chances for team-mates.
While he massively overperformed his xG for the contest (three goals against an xG of just 0.87) his team-mates let him down on the xA front, creating 1.42 xA worth of chances that weren't converted - the scoreline could have been much worse for Schalke.

Honourable Mentions
It was a thrilling return to the Bundesliga for Leroy Sane, who helped Gnabry tear Schalke apart along with Gnabry, but he will have more difficult evenings than this.
That being said, his goal and his two assists for Gnabry were intelligent plays, and he racked up the second highest xA of the weekend with 1.36. A brilliant evening's work.
🥉 Andrej Kramaric (Hoffenheim) - 9.5
29-year-old Kramaric is one of the most underrated finishers in the Bundesliga, and he got his season off to the perfect start with a hat-trick to win the match away at Koln.
The first goal took advantage of some slack passing at the back from the home side to allow him to slot home, before the coolest of penalties, rolled perfectly into the corner, put his side back in front after Koln had equalised.
And in the closing stages after Koln had levelled again, he showed composure in the area to shift the ball to his right foot and roll into the corner to clinch the points for his side. Five shots, four on target, three goals. Not bad.
