Milan find themselves top of Serie A at Christmas following a superb 3-2 home victory against Lazio on Wednesday.

With the clock running down at San Siro, it seemed like it would be arch rivals Inter who would top the table after 14 games, but a late goal from Theo Hernandez saw Milan win 3-2 in injury time.

The player most responsible for claiming all three points was Hakan Calhanoglu (9.3), who had a hand in all three of their goals with one scored himself plus two assists.

His set-piece deliveries were sensational all evening, as he assisted both the opener for Ante Rebic and the winner for Theo Hernandez with a pair of corner-kicks.

Junior Messias (9.0) was key in Crotone winning just their second game of the season as he scored two in the vital 2-1 win against Parma.

He leads the forward line alongside Luis Muriel (8.5), who scored two as Atalanta drew with Bologna, and Gianluca Caprari (8.4), who contributed to both goals as Benevento won 2-0 away at Parma.

Central midfielders didn't enjoy a vintage matchday, which sees Marten de Roon (7.2) make the Team of the Week with only a slightly above average score.

He partners Roma's Jordan Veretout (7.7) in the middle of midfield.

Crotone's Arkadiusz Reca (7.7) slots in at left-back, having gained an assist as well as winning an impressive 13/19 duels.

Inter won 2-1 away at Verona, and two of their centre-backs make the Team of the Week.

Alessandro Bastoni (7.4) and Milan Skriniar (7.7) were solid if not spectacular at the back for Antonio Conte's men.

Gaetano Letizia (8.0) makes up the back four after his goal for Benevento.

In goal is Crotone's Alex Cordaz (7.6) who made six saves versus Parma.
