Bruno Fernandes believes Paul Scholes was the superior player to Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard.
During their time plying their trade in the Premier League, and years after, football fans, pundits, and anyone involved in the sport has had an opinion on who is the best of the three, with the trio widely considered the three best English midfielders in the history of the Premier League.

Man Utd have the mentality to win the Premier League - Fernandes
Club alliances naturally play a part in who people generally select, with United fans selected Scholes, Chelsea fans picking Lampard, and Liverpool fans sticking with Gerrard.
Fernandes, now a United player, is of the opinion that Scholes is the best.
"I think Scholes was one of the best midfielders in the world," he told the UTD podcast.
"For England, a lot of people talk about Frank Lampard because he scored a lot of goals of course, one of the best in England too, you have Steven Gerrard too.
"But I think Scholes is the one who makes more difference than anyone else.

"And before everyone starts talking about this, I haven’t seen every midfielder in England...
"But I think in the last generation, those three were the three best ones, and for me Scholes was best."
The Portuguese also believes that his playing style comes closest to Scholes among the legendary trio, which may play a part in his opinion.
"Maybe I'm closer to Paul Scholes than the rest of them," he added.
"Scholes was a guy who likes to be in the box, who likes to give an assist, who likes to score a lot of goals."
Fernandes has been one of United's brighter performers this season, but the Red Devils currently find themselves 14th in the Premier League, having won just three of their opening seven matches.
