Bayern almost failed to win for two weeks in a row but Robert Lewandowski bailed them out with a stunning four-goal haul to clinch the match against Hertha Berlin.

But how did Lewandowski play?

📷 Robert Lewandowski: Match Snapshot

⏱️ 40' After missing the initial chance the ball broke back to the Pole six yards out and he smashed into the net in his own emphatic style.

⏱️ 51' And his finish was simply fantastic at the start of the second half, taking a touch at the edge of the area to spin and drill across the goalkeeper into the far corner for a vintage Lewy finish.

⏱️ 85' After Hertha had fought back to 2-2, Lewandowski once again appeared on the scene, drifting in at the back post to bundle in Thomas Muller's knockdown.

⏱️ 90' And yet, it still wasn't over. Hertha equalised again and in the closing stages Lewy was dragged down six yards out as he jumped for a header, leading to a penalty kick and the inevitably penalty kick and fourth goal for the forward.

Not only that, had a total of THIRTEEN shots on goal in the match, of which seven were on target, while he also took 13 touches inside the opposition penalty area.

Lewandowski: What Next?

Bayern are beginning to look more than a little vulnerable; they have conceded nine goals in a week, and had it not been for Lewandowski's brilliance here it could have been more points dropped after the loss to Hoffenheim last week.

Lewandowski can't go forever but when on this form, Bayern will still feel very very lucky to have him.
