Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski was once again imperious as the German side came from behind to trounce Austrian outfit RB Salzburg 6-2.

⏱️ 21' Lewandowki's first was a routine penalty, including a nice stutter in the run up, before he slotted it into the bottom left-hand corner of the Salzburg net. This was Bayern's equaliser.

Salzburg equalised in the 66th minute to make it 2-2, which is how it stayed until 11 minutes from time, when Jerome Boateng put the Germans in front. Leroy Sane added a spectacular fourth.

A ⏱️ 88' The Polish superstar then put the icing on the cake, adding a fifth with two minutes left of the game. Lewandowski guided Joshua Kimmich's flip across the goal with a header, and the ball nestled into the corner of the Salzburg net, again.

Lewandowski, by his own high standards, had a relatively quiet outing against Lokomotiv Moscow in last week's Champions League game, recording a 6.3 FC Rating.

A week later, the Polish striker's rating has increased to his usual levels, with a 8.2 FC Rating after tonight's game.
