⏱️ 48' Just when Dortmund thought they were back in the game with a goal just before half-time, Lewandowski pounced three minutes into the second half with a remarkable glancing header that nestled just inside the back post of Roman Burki's goal.

A ⏱️ 80' With 10 minutes left on the clock Bayern broke in a characteristically clinical counter attack, which saw the Polish striker lay the ball off to Leroy Sane to score a goal which, ultimately, confirmed all three points.

Aside from the goals and assists that actually stood, Lewandowski also got on the end of a cross in the 27th minute to tap home what should have been Bayern's opening goal, if not for a dubious VAR decision.

The Polish striker was also at the mercy of the new technology in the dying moments of the game as well, when a potential hat-trick was taken away from him by another decision to rule him offside.

Yet, even without his additional goals Lewandowski was still unquestionably the best player on the pitch on Saturday and once again showed that when he's at his very best opposing teams simply can't contain him.
