With two games remaining in the Primera Division season, the European qualification fates of Real Betis and Real Sociedad are still unclear.

At the moment, it seems likely that both sides will at least qualify for the Europa Conference, but it will be a shootout between Betis and Sociedad to claim the second spot in the Europa League.

Betis current form

After a shocking period in March that saw Betis lose four games in a row, they have moved up the table steadily from April onwards, going on a run of six games undefeated.

They have won four of those versus Celta, Valencia, Osasuna and Almeria.

Last time out, they drew 2-2 away at Las Palmas.

Real Sociedad current form

Conversely, Sociedad have been inconsistent in recent games, with two wins, two losses and a draw out of their last five.

Two weeks ago they lost 2-0 against Barca but got back to winning ways last time out by defeating Valencia 1-0 at home.

Betis vs Sociedad Team News

Unfortunately for Betis, Isco had to be withdrawn due to injury in the Las Palmas game and it seems unlikely he'll play again this season, which could harm his hopes of getting in the Spain squad for the Euros.

German Pezzella, Marc Bartra, Dani Perez, Chimy Avila and Cedric Bakambu are also out, while Aitor Rubal is suspended.

Aihen Munoz, Carlos Fernandez, Martin Zubimendi and Igor Zubeldia will all likely miss out for La Real, but Javi Galan could return after a finger injury.

Key player - Betis

In the absence of Isco, there will be more pressure on top scorer Willian Jose to produce in the final third.
