There is a hell of a lot on the line when Rangers face Celtic in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday.
At the moment, Celtic are at the summit of the table one point ahead of their great rivals.
However, Rangers do have a game in hand, so if they emerge victorious on Sunday, they will take the driving seat in the title race.
Current Form
Rangers Current Form
At the beginning of the year, following defeat to Celtic in the last game of 2023, Rangers won nine games in a row before falling to defeat at home against Motherwell.
That put a dent in a championship run that saw them significantly close the gap to the Hoops at the top of the table.
Rangers did recover last time out with a 3-1 victory at home to Hibernian, with James Tavernier, Cyriel Dessers and Rabbi Matondo scoring the goals.
Celtic Current Form
Since the start of February, Celtic have dropped seven points to Rangers in the title race following draws against Aberdeen and Kilmarnock and a loss versus Hearts a month ago.
However, they have recovered well to beat St. Johnstone 3-1 and Livingston 3-0.
Over their last five Scottish Premiership games, they have scored 16 goals.
Team News
Rangers Team News
Rangers received a boost with the recent return of Abdallah Sima, who came off the bench to feature in the Hibs game. He had missed around three months of action.
The main selection decision for Philippe Clement will come at left-back, as he must choose between fit-again Ridvan Yilmaz, Dujon Sterling and Borna Barisic.
Celtic Team News
Celtic have been missing influential midfielders Reo Hatate and Callum McGregor for a while, but the former returned for a start against Livingston, while the club captain returned to training this week.
It will be for Brendan Rodgers to decide if either or both men should start in midfield alongside Matt O'Riley.
Rangers vs Celtic: Scoreline Prediction
Rangers have an incredible opportunity in front of a raucous Ibrox to get one over on Celtic here, but when you assess both sides, the reigning champions have more quality in key areas, while the return of captain McGregor could prove vital.
Kyogo Furuhashi has proved in the past he has the better of Conor Goldson and John Souttar, too.
