Having exorcised some demons in their last outing in La Liga, Real Madrid will be hoping to build up a bit of form and get back to a potential title race when they host Levante on Saturday afternoon.

To help in such an endeavour, Zinedine Zidane is likely to have a relatively full-strength squad to pick from as Los Blancos go searching for another three points in the Spanish top flight.

In defence, Zidane is likely to stick with his tried and tested Thibaut Courtois in goals, but the Madrid manager may need to shuffle his pack a little to accommodate a few injuries to his defensive line.

Dani Carvajal is expected to start at right-back for the injured Lucas Vazque, while Eder Militao may also be given a rare starting role in the side due to Sergio Ramos being a doubt for the match after picking up a knee injury. Aside from that, Ferland Mendy is likely to start at left-back and Raphael Varane will keep his spot in the middle of the pitch.

After an impressive display against Alaves, Zidane will surely stick with his favoured midfield trio of Toni Kroos, Luka Modrice and Casemiro in the middle of the park in an attempt to dominate proceedings from the first while on Saturday.

Up front the Madrid head coach will likely persevere with Eden Hazard on the left wing, with Karim Benzema holding on to his spot up front as the club’s undisputed No.9. However, due to injuries, it seems likely that Marco Asensio will take up the role of right winger against Levante.
