Man City defender John Stones earned a perfect 10 FC Rating for his performance at the weekend as Pep Guardiola's side comfortably defeated Crystal Palace 4-0 at the Etihad.

Up until the last few months, Stones (10) was on the periphery of the City team, but has taken advantage of the second chance awarded to him by Guardiola to become one of the most in-form defenders in the Premier League.

As well as scoring the opening goal with a lovely glancing header, he completed 112/117 passes to team-mates - a tally only bettered by Chelsea defender Thiago Silva (8.4) who also makes the Team of the Week.

Stones also had the third-most touches of any player in this round of fixtures.

Joining that pair in the back three is Stones' Man City team-mate Ruben Dias (8.5), who won the majority of his duels, tackles, and aerial duels.

The most high-profile match of the weekend saw Liverpool take on Man Utd at Anfield, and although it ended in a dull 0-0, the performance of Thiago (9.2) was enough to make the viewing worth your time.

The Spaniard ran the show from start to finish, completing 83/96 passes, 31 of which were sent into the final third. He had 121 touches of the ball, won 9/16 duels, and made 10 ball recoveries.

With his cross for the opening goal for Stones in the City game, Kevin De Bruyne (8.4) recorded his 100th assist for the club in all competitions and his 76th in the Premier League which puts him 10th in the all-time assist-maker leaderboard.

Only Pedro Neto beat his tally of 13 crosses sent into the box

Youri Tielemans' (9.0) superb recent form continued as he set-up two goals in Leicester's 2-0 home win against Southampton.

Making up the four-man midfield is Mason Mount (8.3), who emerged as Chelsea's match-winner by scoring the only goal of the game against Fulham on Saturday.

After a frustrating first-half against Newcastle, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (8.6) finally got luck on his side in the second period, scoring two goals as Arsenal eventually won 3-0 in comfortable fashion.

Harry Kane (8.2) leads the line after his blistering finish versus Sheffield Utd, while Bukayo Saka (8.3) earns his place after his neat finish for the Gunners.

In goal is Alisson (8.0), who was forced into a couple of vital saves by Man Utd, most notably from Paul Pogba.
