Premier League Team of the Week, Round 6: Brilliant Bamford

Patrick Bamford earned a perfect 10 FC Rating for his performance at on Friday evening as Leeds won 3-0 against Aston Villa.

When Leeds were promoted there were plenty of pundits who suggested that they would need an upgrade on Bamford up top if they were to prosper, but the Englishman is proving everyone wrong.

His three goals against Villa took his tally to six for the season so far.

Wilfried Zaha (9.4) scored one and assisted another for Palace in the win over Fulham, while Danny Ings (8.) is also in the front three after recording two assists for Southampton.

Ings' team-mate James Ward-Prowse (8.7) was excellent in the win against Everton, with a goal topping off an overall impressive outing.

Joining him in midfield are Tom Cairney (7.9) and Rodri (7.9)

Chelsea have had a real problem leaking goals this season, but earned a clean sheet in the 0-0 draw versus Manchester United, with Kurt Zouma (7.7) and Thiago Silva (7.6) proving vital in shutting out the Red Devils.

Joao Cancelo (7.6) again played well for Man City out of position at left-back, with Joe Gomez (7.6) making up the four-man defence.

Fulham may have lost against Palace 2-1 on Saturday, but the loss could have been a lot worse if not for the saves of Alphonse Areola (8.0), who made no less than eight.
