Man Utd secured one of the most dominating results in their history during the week when they demolished Southampton 9-0 at Old Trafford.

An early red card for the Saints put them on the back foot immediately, while they went down to nine men later on in the game.

Though Man Utd prospered in the extra space to truly punish Southampton, it was still a quality showing from the home side.

Bruno Fernandes (10) in particular was in marvellous form, as he assisted two of the goals as well as scoring one himself from the penalty spot. One assist for Anthony Martial was exquisite as he dinked a lovely ball into the chest of his team-mate inside the box.

The Portuguese sent a superb 44 passes into the final third in the game - a feat only bettered this week by John Fleck of Sheffield Utd.

Martial (8.6) was the beneficiary of two assists on the night as he scored a double, taking his Premier League tally to four for the season.

Man Utd dominate the Team of the Week for round 22, as three other of their players also made the cut.

Scott McTominay (8.3) scored a lovely goal from midfield and completed 69/77 passes as well as winning the majority of his duels.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka (8.8) scored his second of the campaign from right-back, while Luke Shaw (8.7) recorded two assists for team-mates on the night.

Naturally, Wan-Bissaka won 100% of his tackles, too.

Jesse Lingard (9.0) played his first minutes of the Premier League season after earning a loan move to West Ham, and it was pretty much the perfect debut for him as he scored two goals for his new club as Aston Villa were defeated 3-1 away.

Ilkay Gundogan's (8.6) sensational form continued as Man City beat Burnley, and although he didn't get on the scoresheet this time, he did earn one assist. The German completed 67/71 passes.

Making up the midfield three is James Maddison (8.3), who assisted both goals as Leicester beat Fulham 2-0 away from home.

Aymeric Laporte (7.7) and Chris Basham (8.0) complete the back four.

Jordan Pickford has a fight on his hands for the number one jersey at Everton as understudy Robin Olsen (7.7) was excellent against Leeds, making five important saves.
