Aston Villa's Emiliano Martinez was sublime against Brighton, earning himself a perfect 10 FC Rating for his efforts

The Premier League Team of the Week for Gameweek 24 is led by Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez.

Villa drew 0-0 away at Brighton, and the point earned was basically all down to Martinez (10), who made an astonishing nine vital saves between the sticks, as well as eight ball recoveries.

The pick of the bunch came from a Dan Burn header, as he somehow got across goal to tip the attempt round the post as it looked destined to nestle into the top corner.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (9.0) helped himself to a hat-trick against a leaky Leeds defence, and he is joined up front by Josh Maja (8.6), who scored two in his full Premier League debut as Fulham recorded a potentially vital away win at Everton.

Man City pretty much effortless controlled proceedings against Tottenham, and key to their victory against Jose Mourinho's side was, once again, Ilkay Gundogan (8.8), whose incredible form continued as he bagged himself another couple of goals.

Team-mate Rodri (8.4) joins him in a midfield diamond after taking advantage of being given penalty-taking duties to get on the scoresheet. The Spaniard also completed 83/87 attempted passes.

Mateo Kovacic (8.9) is emerging as Thomas Tuchel's vital cog in his midfield, as he once again kept things ticking over for Chelsea against Newcastle, completing 87/91 passes and winning 11/13 duels.

The most midfield duels this weekend were won by Wilfried Ndidi (9.3) with 12, while the Leicester man also made a superb 19 ball recoveries in the 3-1 win against Liverpool.

Harry Maguire (7.4) and Mason Holgate (7.4) may not have been on winning sides, but their performances merited a victory as they are paired at the back in our Team of the Week.

Both players were in the top five for the most touches of the ball out of any player this weekend.

The pass master of the weekend was Man City's Oleksandr Zinchenko (8.0) who completed 100/107 passes, while he was the player who touched the ball the most, too, with 128.

Burnley's Matthew Lowton (9.1) is in at right-back after his blistering volley away at Palace.
